Bought this garment with the same enthusiasm as I do with each Carhartt garment I buy....which is a a lot and assorted. But this one let me down, washed in cold water and dried on low, but now my XL is more like a short medium. And the collar shrunk so much it almost nonexistent!

Per reviews, I ordered an extra large to accommodate shrinking. I washed it, it shrank, but instead of shrinking to a large it shrank to a medium in length, collar remained extra large, and sleeves were in between. Fabric was not good and it looked really bad. I love Carhartt clothes, buy them all the time. But not this ever again. You won't be happy with this, so I strongly suggest not buying it. Sorry, but that is how I fell.

GREAT shirt, want it in more colors

I LOVE this shirt, one of the most comfortable I've ever worn, lightweight, yet warm, and super soft and comfortable. I normally buy a L, but with washing and a little shrinkage, the XL was perfect. The only suggestion I have is to offer it in more colors like a heathery purple, a dark purple, a rich cranberry color, and/or a heathery red, and a medium-tone heathery green. I'd buy all those colors.

Shrank the first time I washed

I like the shirt. Following the first wash it was smaller, had shrank.. Order a size big.
