Purchased for use with a Yukon extreme jacket that is now discontinued. Just make sure that you order the right size so that the snaps line up properly. The fit, finish and quality are there. I live in Duluth Minnesota where I learned that second best does not cut it at 20 below with a strong wind.

Purchased this hood for my Carhartt coat to wear on extreme cold days here in Maine. I have used it only a few times. I have found it to be too bulky to keep on the coat when it's not that cold. So I have it off most of the time. But it's great on those extreme cold windy days.
