Not much for wearing hoods. This however was a very nice addition to my Sandstone coat. Defiantly does the job of keeping the back of my head warm and dry when blowing waist deep snow.

Sandstone Hood Finally

So happy to finally find the hood that was meant for my Carhartt jacket! Many years separate these two pieces, and it will take some time to match the wear pattern on both items. Currently, I have mounted the hood on our porch fence to expose to the elements and match the wear on my Carhartt jacket.

Ordered a second because Carhartt no longer makes the hood in the dark brown color of my jacket. Their quality standards are incredible as I can find no reason for this hood to be a second! I am more than satisfied with this hood.

I do not have a Carhartt coat and the western duster I wear doesn’t have a hood. I attached this to the collar of my coat. Looks good. Color almost exactly matches.

hard to snap

all of the snaps were almost impossible to snap on except one, I guess I won't have to worry about it coming off, Don't know if I could even get it off, without doing some kind of damage to the snaps and/or material, guess I'll just leave it on.
