poor bottom stay up

not worth the money

carhartt skimped on material here. waist band is a joke. tie up your long johns with a string. do anyone at carhartt wear these and see they don't stay up.. put a wide elastic waist band with 2 fasners. problem is if you wear these under overalls they end up falling down below the waist line..and not to warm either

Great Base Layer

I wore these on top of Kuhl's lightweight pants from a few years back and underneath the Extreme Biberall and was warm down to -22 and confident for just about whatever ole' Mother Nature would throw at me. The tie around the waist could be a cinch buckle or something a little more handy than a bit of rope to tie, but I never tied it anyway.
