Great vest for bird hunting

The fit is roomy and a little bit large but perfect for over a jacket when hunting in the fall. I am 5’8” and weigh 160. The quality is what you expect from Carhartt, impeccable! The durability of the lining is my only concern for long term wear. I will update my review after hunting season is over.

So far so good.

Great upland vest so far. It needs more pockets and shell holders. The inner lining seems cheap but only time will tell.

New and improved Carhartt product

I've owned a Carhartt hunting vest for over forty five years, UU250, time to replace. They have improved it adding a zippered pocket to vest for cell phone safe keeping. Pull out shell holders in each large pocket for easy shell loading. Bottle holder on each side, which means water for dog and pop for me. Hand pockets added behind large shell holder pockets for hand warmers on those cold hunting days. The front loading game pocket is improved with full snapped zippered opening for cleaning and it has weep holes for those rainy day hunts. Garment comes with rain resistant material, very useful product once again. Did I forget to mention the lining and a strap to hang your vest at end of days hunt. Being sixty nine I don't believe I'll be getting forty years of use out of this one so watch on e bay in twenty plus years or buy your own today
