Carhartt 102037 - Women's Brewster Denim Jacket

In the picture that has the jacket open, you can see the same fabric that one of my Carhartt jacket is lined with, so I thought it would be lined. It's not. The reverse side of the denim is a creepy yellow color like you get when you bleach something that's not supposed to be bleached. Also, each sleeve has an ugly worn out section in the shape of a five inch tall "Y". The "Y" is bleached and pilled and the same creepy yellow as the interior of the jacket. I read about the "Y"s in one review but thought they were tiny and probably a defect on one jacket. I would not recommend this jacket except for comfort. The denim is not of the sturdy variety, if that's important to you.

I have owned many jean jackets over the years and this is by far the best. The fabric is durable and tough and also has some stretch to it, making it super comfortable. Also, the fabric is not stiff but moves with you and looks fabulous wear after wear. The length of the jacket is perfect - not too long and not too short and also, the sleeves are nicely long. The pockets are a plus: in addition to the ZIPPED (great idea!) slash pockets and chest pockets, there are two inside pockets which easily hold my phone, etc. Lastly, the price is good for such a quality jacket.

I’ve been looking for a jean jacket for awhile. I love this jacket. I usually wear a XL, but I bought the 2X because I wanted to wear hooded sweatshirts underneath. You can’t beat the price either.

Bought it as a gift for my lady, she is usally between medium and small size. Came in slighlty big, shrunk to perfect size after 1 washing. She loves it

I ordered an xxl because I want to wear a hooded sweatshirt underneath. I usually wear xl. It fits great I love the zipper pockets and the adjustable cuffs. The longer back is great.

I have a generous frame - and my favorite feature is the slight drop in the back of the bottom band, just an extra bit of cover when I squat. Second fav feature the generous, deep square pockets on the inside. Exterior slash pockets also zip and are deep, too. Love the slightly acid wash to the denim, stylish but not too much. I also find it to be warm! Great purchase, it's a winner!

Fits true to size. I love the extra fabric on the back hem. I can wear this for camping and such or for going to the movies. The zippers on the outside pockets are novel - a good idea! I'm glad I bought it.

I'm very happy with this jacket but curious about the two "y" shaped white marks on the inside of the sleeves. Are these intentional?

I've looked forever for a denim jacket that wouldn't make me feel like a trucker and/or punk rocker from the 80s or whatever-- this is the one. It's comfortable but tough, roomy but not bulky. Feminine enough to be able to wear out but can work hard too. The pockets are fantastic!
