Carhartt 101997 - Women's Camo Nail Apron

This is an amazing nail apron! Not only is it high quality, but with the pretty color, I can do my job and still look cute! Mine has taken some heavy abuse for almost 2 years now and still looks good! To give you an idea of what kind of abuse it's been through, I work for 2 companies that are family owned. My main job is installing insulation in homes. When I'm not doing that, I help our guys install heating and air conditioning. I'm the main installer for the insulation and when I'm doing the HVAC, I install the metal and flex ductwork, install thermostats, drains, and wire up the units. I ALWAYS have the apron on me! It has the perfect amount of pouches on it without it being bulky and cumbersome. When insulating I use it to hold my pneumatic staples, batt knife, tape measure, and scissors and iPhone. When doing HVAC, I always carry my tape measure and marker, drywall screws and sheet metal screws, utility knifewire stripper, and iPhone. It has a loop for a hammer, or in my case a drill hook, but I've never liked carrying those on a belt because I don't like the extra weight and I'd always hit my drill on things and I love my drill too much to abuse it more, lol. Anyways, after all of that for 2 years, there's no rips, holes, or frays ANYWHERE on the pouch and belt! The clip is in perfect condition and doesn't slip at all! The nail pouches I used to use were the tie on kind which I thought sucked because, well for one you have to tie them on, and 2, they would always inch up over the top of my jeans unless I put the strings through my belt loops...so annoying. With this apron, you just snap and go. At the end of the day, I roll it up with everything in it (except my tape measure) and stick it in my drill bag. I also wanted to add that when I first bought it I was afraid of the color bleeding onto my clothes if it got wet or from friction, however, after many many days of being sweat soaked or rained on, the color holds fast and hasn't transferred one bit to my clothes (including white t-shirts)!! Needless to say I am a huge fan of this nail apron and hope that Carhartt will continue to make these for us girls that work construction but still like to look like women!

Of course this very cute bag is durable, strong and stylish. It’s everything you would expect from Carhartt. In fact, this is my second one, apparently it was so adorable that someone else thought they needed it more than I did and stole it. The pockets are generously sized and sewn to pop out just slightly so that gloved hands can slide in/out easily. The strong plastic clasp keeps the belt secured with no worries about opening and the adjustable belt is very long so that even the curviest of gals can wear this bag with confidence. The belt is also wide enough to not dig into your hips like most nail bags tend to do. Dungarees also never fails to deliver quickly, so I was able to get this bag with almost zero down time at work.

I work in a large auto factory on the assembly line. We wear all white uniforms. The only thing that sets us apart is our own hats and tool belts that need to be strong, rugged and filled to the brim with nuts and bolts. This bag is cute, durable, fits great and the pockets are large thick and easy to access with gloves in. I love that it’s strong and pretty, just like me.
