Carhartt 101983 - Women's El Paso Utility Vest

Bought this to use as a gardening vest since I have ruined 2 pruners leaving them out in the rain. Now I can put my pruners in a pocket when not in use, and I have other pockets for gloves, my trowel, and my water bottle. Wore it today to a nursery to help plant flower baskets for the neighborhood and the owner of the nursery complimented it. I will get a lot of use out of it this spring and summer. It seems to be good quality but haven't worn it enough yet.

Runs a little large in XL but everything I've purchased in Large size ran a little small. Excellent service from Dungarees

Received my vest to wear for one week and the pocket snap came completely off the pocket flap.. Very disappointed because i purchased for the quality.

Excellent vest for photographers. I love it! I especially like the fact that you can let out the adjustable waist cord & let it hang straight & it doesn't fan out at the bottom or the back. You can wear it in hot weather when you need the pockets & not have a heatstroke. Length is perfect- pockets hit at hip length which is perfect & not like a fishing or hunting vest that puts everything around your waist. Also bought 2 El Paso utility jackets (both colors) same size & wear those over a pullover hoodie when it gets really cold. Best vest ever! Way better than trying to cram all the same stuff in your jeans pockets.

I absolutely love this vest! 'Own some similar ones, but this is my favorite - it's both functional and fashionable. If it were available in more colors, I'd certainly order another.

a pit bull lunged into me and this tough vest protected me. He tore through the pocket and 3 layers of material but his teeth never reached my skin. I immediately purchased another vest and still use the torn one for gardening.

This vest is exactly what I have been looking for. Most women's vests don't contain enough pockets. I am a photographer and have had to use a fishing vest to get the number of pockets I need for hiking into the wilderness on photoshoots. Perfect weight for non-winter shoots. Thank you Carthartt.

Just ordered this vest. Received it the other day an really like it. Hope it comes out in some other colors. Would love some spring colors. Would order another.
