These pants are great. They are cool in hot weather and dry very fast. I have been wearing they for about two years in a machine shop and weld shop setting. They are still holding up. They are also great for hiking and camping.

The pants when they fit are Great! Unless they have fixed it, the waist band is about 1 Size too Small. Had ordered 36 X 34, and they fit like a 34 X 34.

These are one of my favorite pairs of Carhartt pants. They're cool looking and highly functional. I don't have many miles on them yet to judge durability, but I've put them through some hiking and manual labor around the house, and they've held up fine. The only drawback is they run a *little* tight in the waist and seat/thighs of the pants. They're otherwise perfect. I wish Carhartt made more of this style (slightly tactical-ish, very functional with pockets, convertible, little extra material where it counts to prevent wear).

I've been wearing these pants for about a year now and they are very comfortable, they last pretty well and are durable, the finish does fade sooner than it should, a hand full of washes and already you'll notice it but not a problem for me. The biggest concern is they run small in the waist, I wear a size 36" waist in everything I buy and I need a belt, I've been purchasing the size 36" in these pants and they are a little too tight in the waist to the point that they get uncomfortable but only in the waist. This time around I wanted to try the next size up figuring I can always send them back, I purchased the 38" waist and they fit perfectly. They are made in China so no surprise there, but I'll definitely buy again.

Would have preferred deeper side pocket and additional one on other side, but these are the best convertible Carhartt's available. Comfortable and save room when packing

But the zip is of very poor quality and does fail, even with a loose waist.Maybe a buttons instead.
