I have owned many Carhartt work pants. I chose these specifically to wear with a blazer for a wedding. They don't have a hammer loop and the extra knife/tool pocket is more subtle than other work pants. Lighter in weight and breathability too. The slight stretch also makes them wicked comfortable. It fit the bill perfectly.

They've changed these pants a bit since we bought some a couple years ago. Even though they say relaxed there slightly tight in the thighs and I have small legs. The cell phone pocket is not as wide or deep as it used to be; found that very disappointing as that was the main reason I bought them.
