Carhartt 101683 - Canyon Sandstone Coat - Quilt Lined

This coat has it all! Super tough, warm and comfortable. Runs a little large Which is good as it allows you to layer. The split sides are a great feature as it keeps the extra length from bunging up when you’re in the saddle. Had the earlier version of this coat (C52). Great coat but this one exceeds it’s reputation. The added pockets are a great bonus along with the wrist cuffs. Buy the hood, you won’t regret it. Bought the factory 2nd but could have fooled me, can’t find a single blemish. Totally satisfied!!!

good quality except zipper pull fell off after first wash cost me 15.00 to repair besides running a bit large and side pockets too far down to be useful good coat

Great product. Looks great (specially in black). Allows you to wear base layers underneath it. Just enough pockets. Just a great all around product.

i was worried about ordering the medium, even though the sizing said so. but, it fits perfect. i'm 6.1 and 174lbs, so slim / average build and there is enough wiggle room for a thick sweater. the front pockets are good enough to carry a sidearm (such as G27) if you are out in the sticks without the coat feeling off-balanced. coat has a good weight to it and decently warm in 32 degree weather.

This is my third Carhartt coat which arrived yesterday just in time for winter. Like the Bankston this is a casual durable coat. I like the way duck fabric performs, much like denim, gets better with age. This coat has the same features including, heavy zippers, lots of pockets and feels toasty warm. The longer cut is just right for colder days. I get years out of my coats and expect the same for this model. Carhartt customer service is excellent!

This is the first coat I've bought in 10 years and I'm very satisfied. It's a little loose in the chest but that's good if I need to wear clothes underneath to layer.

I am 5'9, 180lbs. I ordered a medium and the jacked feels big, but I tried it on it front of someone who said it looks like it fits. I ordered the black and I understand this is a work jacket, and this is my very first purchase but the black looks like the jacket has been worn for years already even though I purchased it new. I am having some buyers remorse but I tore off the tags already. The jacket is really durable and comfortable otherwise which is why I'm giving it a high rating.
