DETAILS

  • 13-ounce, 100% cotton FR duck
  • 11.5-ounce FR quilt lining: FR Modacrylic batting quilted to twill face cloth
  • 100% flame resistant modacrylic resin insulation
  • Two inside patch pockets with FR hook-and-loop closure for convenient storage
  • Nomex® FR rib-knit cuffs and waistband
  • Brass front zipper with Nomex® zipper tape
  • Inside and outside protective flap with hook-and-loop closure for electric arc protection
  • Attached quilt lined three-piece hood with Nomex® drawcord adjustment
  • Carhartt FR label sewn on front pocket; NFPA 2112/CAT 4 label sewn on zipper flap
  • Meets the performance requirements of NFPA 70E and is UL® Classified to NFPA 2112

Very warm coat

I really like the coat but I do have a few issues. It's heavy & bulky. I can handle the weight because when you wear it you don't notice it. The bulkiness makes it hard to zip because the coat puckers out so it makes it hard to see to latch the zipper. It doesn't wash well. Still looks dirty after machine washing it. Overall it's a good coat.

Just what is needed in the oil field in the winter!

Great quality jacket. Very comfortable. Only drawback is that it runs large, very large. First time in adult life I've had to order and will wear a medium jacket. The large, even though LARGE was very warm. This will be good to wear around the tank farm!
