Carhartt 101299 - Crowley Nylon Jacket

Wanted to purchase this jacket. Seemed usual great Carhartt quality and fit well in large except for sleeves. Much too tight and a bit long in forearms. Length didn't break the deal, snugness did. Couldn't get comfortably over a long-sleeved shirt. I have what I'd consider normal working guy forearms, nothing out of the ordinary and don't usually have this issue with coats. I have the Pineville jacket in Large and it's a perfect fit. Also have a nylon Traditional Coat from a few seasons back in Large that fits fine too. Didn't need this one but would've bought on sale if it fit. My sherpa-lined Carhartt denim is also a little snug and long only in the forearms (but wasn't as bad so I bought it) so, maybe an issue Carhartt might want to look into?

This is a very nice jacket that is well made of good-quality material. The sleeve length is slightly long and, in general, the jacket feels a little big (I typically purchase size medium). Unfortunately, the sleeves are tight and constricting. I can't pull this jacket on over a long-sleeve shirt without jamming my shirt sleeves up on my forearms; and the jacket sleeves are too tight to get in their and pull the shirt sleeves back down. I do have big forearms, but have not experienced this issue with other jackets. I have not worn this jacket much and somehow I doubt that it will see much use, so I cannot comment on warmth, rain resistance or durability.

Bought this for my husband after he tried several on in a local store. Fit is comfortable and loose which is what he wanted. We had to order online because he is 6'1" and has a long torso. The 2XL tall is perfect. The jacket is water repellant and seems like it will hold up well. His only minor complaint it is doesn't protect from the wind.

This Jacket is the best! Comfortable,Great looking, Lightweight, Warm. I love the color also, the canyon brown is really nice color change for me when every other jacket that you own is black.

I got this coat at a local retailer I'm almost positive it was priced marked incorrectly, I'm not gonna lie. Buried in the mix of about 4 other coats I had been kicking the tires on. Guys who work outdoors just don't throw caution to the wind when buying a new coat, we want what we want and we want Carhartt. It's that simple. This is the perfect coat to keep warm in and to separate yourself from everyone else. this Isn't gonna replace my old school Carhartt that I work on and under the loader in but it's the coat I'm putting on as soon as I get in the loader. Don't be mistaken it is super warm. It is just the perfect coat to throw on 5 am on Saturday morning and keep on until she is throwing it on the bedroom floor that night. Yes fellas it is build for speed and comfort. It is a lady slayer.

It's a super coat, it's warm and dry , it's also lightweight and easy to maneuver while working in it. The quality of the coat surpasses Under Armour easily. better coat than under Armour , without a doubt Brandon and Doug at the Potomac TownePlace are super employees their professionalism and knowledge about the products are excellent. They are the reason that my family and I returned to the store for Carhartt products

I had been putting off buying a Carhartt jacket for a while now, but after taking the leap and spending the money, it has definitely been worth it. When the wind hits during a winter storm, I don't even feel it. Best purchase ever.
