DETAILS

Stay warm and protected in this hard hat liner. Made of 9-ouce, 100% cotton FR twill with 11.7-ounce Polartec® Power Stretch® fabric lining. There are inside warming pouch pockets over the ears, and a lower front closure to keep out and wind and protect the neck. Meets the performance requirements and NFPA 70E

  • 9-ounce, 100% cotton FR twill
  • 11.7-ounce Polartec® Power Stretch® fabric lining: 68% modacrylic/29% rayon/3% spandex
  • Over nose face mask
  • Lower front cross-over closure to keep out wind and protect the neck

If you can get past the appearance, you should love it.

I love this hard hat liner, this is in spite of the looks of it. It ain't pretty but it gets the job done and does so with a fair bit of adjustability. At first, I thought that the buttons on one side and the velcro on the opposite side were a weakness of the design. But after having used it in the cold weather I have found it an advantage of the design. This allowing for greater flexibility as to how tight the mask is on the face and therefore how warm it is. Therefore allowing use in more than just extreme cold weather. This said, in the worst weather or with a really bad windchill I would still advice having a secondary mask to wear under this one. Which it does allow space for, depending on the size of your head obviously. But I have no issues wearing a second layer under this liner.
