Not impressed with carhartt discontinuing this jacket.

It's a great jacket. What I dont understand is why they would discontinue the item and stop selling it when everyone is wanting them. Stop making other kinds when you can keep this product and also make others like it

Fits Slim And Comfortable

It comes already broken in for the most part, the rain repellency works great, comfort is an A+ for Carhartts and it fits slim, which is good for me (I'm 6'3, 165 and a medium fits perfect!)

A couple steps up from the standard Shirt Jac

I have been wearing Carhartt's shirt jacs since they came out and love them. Perfect for cooler weather or to keep the wind off. I bought this quick duck version to try the new material and liked the idea of having the side hand pockets and hood. VERY impressed with it. Looks very nice and is well made. Hood and inside quilt lining is very soft. The inside of the sleeves is a nylon lining for an easy on and off. Side hand pockets are a bit too far back to the side seam of the coat but are fine. Quick Duck material is flexible and light weight. It is warmer and a tiny bit larger than my standard shirt jacs. I am 6' about 200lb and Large fits just right.
