What company actually calls you as a result of your review? CARHARTT does! I received a pleasant call and email from Brenda in customer support regarding my review of this henley. I explained my experience, whereupon Brenda offered free shipping of the item back to Carhartt for an inspection, and replacement if warranted. I thanked her but I'd only worn it once briefly, then washed it. Eyeballing it after the "according to instructions" wash (by default, I wash just about everything that way), I noticed it had shrunk considerably, then tried it on again briefly to see how bad it was. I determined it was serviceable, though I was a bit disappointed. I'm writing this, still wearing this comfortable, quality garment, after a full-day's work in 30-degree weather with a medium weight tech base layer under it, a heavy flannel over it and an Arctic Vest over that (with my Detroit jacket on standby for a final but unneeded layer). This henley is great for that purpose. The base layer wicks and this waffle layer allows air drying. Nice combo. The shrinkage, it turns out, may have been beneficial b/c it now fits comfortably under the flannel. The original size was as pictured, long sleeves & torso, etc. It shrank to a comfortably -fitted "Large", with a bit of manual and natural, wearing stretch. Sleeves aren't too short, and torso not too long so can be worn untucked. Thick, large buttons are easy to use. Overall, homerun Carhartt, both on the shirt and the service. Thank you.
