Fit was tight, I prefer the Original Fit

This is my second pair of shorts. The first pair was the Canvas Work Short - Loose Original Fit. I ordered these by mistake. While look and material is the same and waist was also the same (33), these are tighter, particularly in the seat. I prefer the Canvas Work Short - Loose Original Fit so returned these for the others.

Good shorts, but not relaxed fit.

These shorts are of good quality and look great. The only complaint I have is the complaint I have had with all Carhartt pants: they are slim through the seat. These "relaxed-fit" shorts are actually regular fit. Carhartt regular pants are actually slims. The guys who design the pants at Carhartt must have really flat rear-ends.

Short size 36 is the perfect fit if you like it a bit tight, they didn't shrink after washing them a few times, they would be perfect if a little bigger all around, the material is thinner than expected, but it seems durable and strong. They would fit perfect if you are size 35 and like cloths a little loose and not taller than 5.5 unless you like the shorts above you knees.

Probably my favorite Carhartt shorts. They run a little smaller and tighter in the legs than the b147 shorts, so they are great for skinny guys.

Overall the shorts exceeded my expectation but required alterations due to inseam length. When I buy shorts I want shorts above the knee. I shortened these by 2 inches to meet my standards.
