This vest really exceeded my expectations. When worn over a soft shell jacket, it is quite warm. The hood maybe the best feature, as it fits over my skiing helmet while riding up the chair lift. The sherpa lining offers a lot of comfort here. There are an abundance of pockets for cell phone, water bottle (bicycle size), and some snacks. When you ski with kids, it helps to make them comfortable so they can focus on having fun! All the above, and it looks great!

Pretty good vest. Just a bit of a pain to get on, could use a bit more room in the arm holes so it doesn't jam me up at the elbows when trying to get it on. Not too bad but could be better. Once it's on its fine.

This winter vest is toasty warm without the bulk of a full coat or jacket. The multiple pockets are a real plus. The lined hood is wonderful in cold, high wind situations. The overall quality is outstanding! The only complaint for me is the lining in the large, lower pockets. I carry dog and horse treats, which I put in these pockets, however the soft, long, velvet-like lining acts like Velcro which makes it very troublesome removing the items from the pockets without turning the lining inside out along with the contents---with or without wearing gloves. I believe the lining is most likely intended for warming your bare hands on a cold day. In that respect it works quite well. I would definitely purchase this vest again.

Very Comfortable and sizes seems to run true. I ordered an 2XLT since I tend to wear multiple layers underneath the vest and the 2XLT keeps it "loose" fitting. I have washed the vest and it does not shrink when washed in warm water and tumbled dried on a "permanent Press' setting. Overall..a good buy for the money.

I already have two hooded jackets from you and I just thought that this hooded vest would be a natural addition , but it is beyond what I thought it would be. The vest ia so mutch more useful than the jackets, the jackets are warm but this is more versatile as you can wear something different under acording to the temp. and fashion needs. Sandy Dowie

The pockets are all too small. The side pockets will not hold a pair of gloves without losing them. Also the lining in the pockets is cheap material. It stuck to my rough hands and pulled out when my hands were removed. The chest pockets are too small to hold a box of rifle cartridges. The fit was too tight. The only thing good was the hood. It covered the face better than most Carhartt hoods

I was looking for a warm, hooded, multi-pocket vest that would be great for general work when the weather is nice and didn't want to be hindered by sleeves. There are plenty of pockets inside and out. There is also an inside pocket where you can easily store your iPod or phone and thread your ear bud cords so it doesn't get in the way. My only complaints are that one arm opening feels slightly smaller than the other and the button up front isn't the best because it can pucker and be a little drafty. I wish it had an internal zip up as well as the button
