Super Warm, Super Tough

The day this coat arrived, the outside temperature was 25 degrees with a wind chill of 10 degrees, and Fort Worth was covered with ice. I immeditely put on this coat to try it out and stepped outside into the windiest spot on my property. 30 mph winds didnt cut through this coat. I was amazed. If you are looking for a rugged, good looking, warm coat, this one is for your. When i head out to work in the OK panhandle, I plan on layering with a windstopper layer under the coat and I have no doubt that I will stay warm in the coldest conditions. The sherpa lined pockes are also great places for keeping some Hot-Hands hand warmers.

Very comfortable jacket!

I had bought the vest and liked the fit, comfort and the pockets, so I also bought the jacket. I like the sherpa lining and the stand up collar. I also like the length and the added length in the tail. I have been wearing a hooded sweat shirt underneath that goes well with the stand up collar. Very pleased!

Sizes run very large

I own several other carhartt jackets and all are a large regular. I ordered this one the same. It fit well in the arms and shoulders but must have been built for someone with a large belly. I could not sit down with jacket on. I now have a jacket that I can't stand to wear.
