Ordered these jeans because the Carhartts I normally get are no longer available. When I first received them I was apprehensive about them because they are lighter material than what I'm used to. Washed one pair to try them and had planned on sending the rest back for something else. After wearing first pair I actually liked them and kept the rest of the order. I wish Carhartt would make this style in a heavier weight fabric and I would buy them also.

I prefer the relaxed fit over the dungaree (generous fit) personally. These pants still have plenty of room in the pockets, room to move and bend and fit over boots; but are less baggy than the dungaree style.

Good jeans for fashion, but not why I buy Carhartt.

These jeans are good quality and the material looks nice, but a bit thin for work jeans. I doubt the thinner material would hold up if you did any serious knee work or crawling around under houses, etc. If you are looking for "skinny jeans", then you will like the cut and fit of these, but being a skinny person already, and 42 years old, I would rather have something more traditional and ready for doing actual work.

The new faded denim with a great fit
