Be cautious when buying this boot

From: Undisclosed,  Age:  Gender:
This is my second pair as had problems with first. First pair the finger loop on back broke after 3 weeks of moderate use. Bogs was great on return. The second pari now wearing, the loop feels weak. I have no confidence this loop will last. This appears to be a common problem with these boots which needs to be corrected. Be cautious. Having said that. I do love the fit and comfort of this boot. For price, they need to fix the finger loop.

Very Comfortable and warm....but.....poorly made

From: Ontario, Canada Age:  Gender:
Back tab ripped 2 days after purchasing online. Should also have a tab on the front. Having them fixed locally as the rest of the boot is great. Would've expected better quality for the price.

Nice fit, but poor quality boots

From: Michigan,  Age:  Gender:
Rear pull tab broke on the very first time I put these on. I will likely return the boots, but retailer won't pay for return shipment, so I might consider taking to a local shoe repair shop. Nice looking boots, good fit, seems comfortable...but that pull tab is way too weak to actually be used for it's intended purpose.

A Comfortable Boot That May Have Quality Issues

From: Undisclosed,  Age:  Gender:
This is my second pair of Bogs and I find the boots very comfortable, unfortunately they just don't last and customer service is a bit lacking; however, they do stand behind their product. On my first pair the upper separated from the sole shortly after purchase. Until then they were a favorite pair of boots for walking the dog in the morning - I really like the boots and can't say it enough. I contacted Bogs' warranty department and they provided a gift card, after inspecting the boots, since they were discontinued. I waited until Bog produced a similar boot (Freedom Chelsea) and promptly ordered a pair. Upon arrival I tried them on for fit. The next day I went to wear them for the first time and pull tab ripped in half - it is rubber impregnated fabric instead of leather. I called customer service to generate a return and wanted to get another pair in mail ASAP. For some reason they implored me to return the boots before shipping another pair and didn't seem to want to sell me a replacement to save time. I even tried via email and was told I had to return the boots first - I was willing to pay for the new pair so thought maybe it had to due with the gift card. I needed boots so after I got off the phone with Bogs I called LL Bean and ordered another pair of the famous Bean Boot that is now made in the Chelsea style. The Bogs Chelsea is more comfortable, but the Bean boot is bullet proof. I made a sizing mistake on the Bean order and called them back the next day. Bean shipped me the correct size and provided a return label for the first pair. To my surprise they didn't charge me for the second pair and just asked I return the first pair.

I would definitely buy again!

From: Milwaukee, WI Age:  Gender:
I own a couple pairs of Bogs and these are definitely made with the same quality and comfort of those boots. They look nice and seem like they will last for a long time. I have worn them for work and general casual wear and they have more than exceeded my expectations. Feet stay dry and warm and like that they are slip on.

We bought these shoes for my 13 year old son and he absolutely loves them. He wears them all the time. He says they are extremely comfortable and would like another pair.
