The multi-piece back is poorly constructed and only lasted a few months, even though I rotated them with a second (different) pair of boots. Wolverine replaced them, but with the same boot model. I can see the same problem in the fact that there is a plastic strip that joins the upper and lower sections of the back. Normal activity of taking them on and off pulls at the stitching. The design is poor, and others have had the same failures take place. Comfortable, but not durable.
