Wolverine W05745 - Wilderness Waterproof Hiker

Ive had mine about four months and the soles are staring to separate from the boot on both sides.

I love these boots. They are my 2nd pair. Very comfortable without much break in period, but they are not waterproof. More like water resistant. The only other complaint is I ordered extra wide and they don't seem to be any wider than the regulars that I've previously had. There's a lot of room on top of the toes, so thick socks are probably a good idea

My previous version of these boots lasted me over 10 years with no issues. I'd gladly keep buying them!

I tried the Spencer Wolverine hiking shoe in the store in my size 11M it ran tight in the front width direction of the boot. I recommend getting EW. This is a better looking hiking shoe then the Spencer. Its hi quality hi arch support makes you want get out there and walk. The EW gives movement in front just warning anyone not used to it. You can where heavier socks which is what you want hiking. I recommend going into a retail store try a pair of Wolverine boots to decide.

Wolverine has always fit me true to size (11 D) and these did the same. I got these since my usual Wolverine leather hikers were not available. Mine are over 6 mos old now and I came to the Dungarees site to see if they are still sold (not that I need a new pair yet). Yes they still have these AND the leather hikers are back too. Good stuff !

These boots are AWESOME! Only took a week or so to break in, then it was out to the trails. I highly recommend these for anyone who is looking for a good sturdy hiking boot.
