Wolverine W02161 - Marauder MultiShox® Contour Welt® Waterproof 6" Steel-Toe Electrical Hazard Lace Up

I bought these boots about a month ago. So far they have exceeded my expectations. Having size 12-13 'Fred Flintstone' feet I have always had a very tough time buying shoes/boots; often leaving at the end of a shoe shopping day disgruntled and disappointed. Never would I have ever considered ordering shoes/boots online! Well, I did consider it this time, and I am glad I did. These boots are very comfortable. Normally by this point I would've bought gel inserts, but not with these (yet). The ankle support is very nice. The ankle cushioning is excellent; no chafing of the hairy legs as so many lesser quality boots tend to do. The laces are nice and snug. You don't even realize that the steel-toe is there until you need it. Tread is well constructed. The leather is soft and tough, if that makes sense. I bought these in a 12EW and they were a little tight around the tops of my feet just before the steel, but have opened up some after a months wearing. They definitely keep my feet very warm and dry! The overall craftsmanship of these boots is very impressive. As the Yard Boss of a large lumber yard in north-eastern Minnesota I have put these boots through the roughest winter we've had in a while, in the snow, ice and muck, and have had zero regrets.
