Good zipper, although I wish front was a two-way zip. Plenty of pockets, solid construction, zip-off hood has insulation too, very warm. Side vents backed by mesh if needed. A great buy. 5'11, 215, I kept the XL. Return process of large that did not fit was painless and fast. Second time buying from Dungarees-great company.

My son got a new job this winter working outdoors cutting trees and clearing right of ways for the power company. I bought him this jacket and a pair of carrhart yukon extreme bibs.On his second week on the job we were hit by the "bomb cyclone",the temperature dropped to zero and windchills in the negative digits. He raves about this jacket in wind and rain. A lot of his coworkers quit. He says it is not cumbersome to work in and he loves it!

Not quite as warm as I expected worked well at 4500’ in a heavy wind temp in the mid 40’s. I had layers underneath and was walking. Just standing I would have been cold.
