These are great boots for casual work wear. I've had a pair I've worn for 3 years the back did come apart after 2.5 years of weekly wear. These aren't redwings but they don't cost like red wings and way more comfortable. They are like wearing a tennis shoe almost. Extremely light flexible. No they probably won't hold up under daily construction use. I have had to run in them a few times and very comfortable also the sole tread hardly wears.
