I like the boots, except the eyelet that bites into the shoe lace. I only wort them once and it is difficult to tighten and loosen the shoe lace. I am considering cutting it off and just using the cloth tether, but I dont like that idea either. I will try removing the cinch eyelet and inserting maybe a small key rind in the loop in place of the cinch eyelet
