Bought the boots for hunting on stand for several hours. Was disappointed in the lack of insulation in the toe area. Its like building a house and only insulating only 3 sides of it.

Cold Snap Boots

Wore these the last two seasons- never found a better boot for the money, nor for more money. These boots are comfortable, warm, take a LOT of torture. They should be offered in a solid color, that's my single criticism. A FABULOUS boot for the cold weather hunter!

Too Narrow

Not as advertised. They were advertised as wide and they are not wide at all and too narrow. I even ordered 2 sizes up and still too narrow. If you have wide feet these will not work as they will be too narrow. If you have medium or narrow feet they may work.

Very Nice Boots

Pretty satisfied with the “cold snap”. Use as my daily drivers. Very warm pair of boots, almost too warm at times. Tight fit at first, but fit just right after broken in. Just wish there was a toe guard.

These would be great boots

These would be great boots except they are not waterproof. One day of snowmobiling left me with wet feet, never stepped in water. This was only the 5th time i wore the boots, im sending them back for warranty replacement.

Not well insulated in the toe

For a 2000 gram boot it did not hold the warmth in very well at all, I hunted in 20 degree weather for a couple hours and within the first hour my toes felt the cold. The top of the toe has next to no insulation on it the toe also has maybe a nonmetallic to which you could feel when you wiggle your toes in the boot which I did not see in the description of the boot. From my time in the woods the most important part to keep warm are your feet and not having a good layer of thinsulate over your toes is terrible because that’s the first thing to get cold and to get you out of your stand, I’ve learned once your feet get cold it’s over.

Good boot

Did not take very long to break in. Feet stayed warm and dry. Sizing is the same as other boots that I’ve had.
