Awesome boots for the woods , aroind the house, and even look good out! Waterproof is legit I have tested them heavy during Turkey. They do run a tad bit big which is no problem with hunting socks etc… with lighter socks I may get a beefier insole and that will take care of it. Excellent boots would buy again

These boots seem to be ok. I believe they are water proof. I have not had a good test for that yet. They are true to size. I wore them hunting grouse in Wisconsin. They seem to work well for upland hunting.

I like these boots, water proof, tough, good traction, and they look nice. Laces are tight in the hooks like most people have mentioned but not a problem in my mind so far. I hiked 8 miles or steep wet terrain in these this weekend. First use my feet are happy.

I Bought these back in August of 2020 and within the first two months put about 100miles on them from archery hunting, to working (Forester) so I do a lot of walking and back country hunting. They are in great shape still, they are super light and super comfy, I live in Western Washington so it is very wet and I have crossed river and had these boot going through water. My only slight dissapointment is there not as waterproof as I thought they were, my feet would not wet but get damp walking through water. Though after reading other reviews it might be just my boots might have a small leak in them, so that is why I am still giving them a 5star because the comfort, support and light weight, and that they still keep my feet mostly dry I am happy with them plus you cannot beat the price.

Without a doubt, these Lodestar boots are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned! The heel of the boot securely cradles my foot and the toe box gives me just the room my toes need for a super fit.
I have a size 14, medium/slim foot and these lighter weight, uninsulated boots have enough flex in lacing them up to customize the fit for all day comfort while I’m bird hunting and field trialing my dogs.
