I’ve been wearing this classic style boot for 30yrs. The fit and weight have been true to form and unchanged for me. Great hunting boot and comfortable enough to wear around the campfire socializing! I believe this is the best knee boot lacrosse make. Our company has used most all of the knee boots lacrosse have made over the last 30 years. None of them hold up like the Burly Classic. The only thing I would change is the heel should be as wide as the boot. It would help prevent ankle rolling on uneven ground also give more surface on the mud to reduce sinking in the mud. The more expensive line of boots lacrosse makes most of the boot soles will separate from the boot. The way the burly classics are made that has never been an issue. If the burly classic was offered in a OSHA approved safety toe that would be a bonus. If lacrosse decided to do that I would ask that it did not change how the boot soles are made with the rest of the boot. Some other add on’s could be an arch support, electrical safety rating.
