Keen 1027689 - CSA Camden 6" WP

First off, I really like these boots. They are very comfortable and look great. Unfortunately, they have a couple of flaws that I've experienced on 3 pairs now. I wouldn't say they are a deal breaker, but it's definitely something to consider. The lowest lace hook is noticeably different from the two above. This hook tends to bend inward causing the lace to be stuck behind it- not a huge deal, but don't make the mistake of trying to bend it back open because it will break immediately. The upper two hooks are much heavier and don't bend at all. In my case, I needed to replace broken laces and literally couldn't without bending this hook. The new lace had no space to slide under the hook without doing so, and of course it broke (happened on all 3 pairs). The other issue isn't directly associated with this model, but several I'd imagine. The insoles are terrible. They are comfortable enough but need to be replaced every couple of months. I'm 6'2" 220lbs. I'd assume that I'm within the regular weight range expected here, so I'm not sure why they flatten out so quickly given that replacements are $30-50 depending on which you choose. Overall, they are well built and don't fall apart like others I've experienced, but that dang lace hook flaw is obnoxious. . .

I initially purchased the Keen Evanston and had a slight defect where a seperation started on the outside of the boot. With that being said I decided to submit a warranty claim (which i rarely ever try) and was afraid it wouldn't go through. After they processed my claim it was approved and I received a full refund! I was able to apply my refund code at check out and decided to get the CDA Camden 6" and I truly could not be happier. They are very comfortable and I will definitely be a returning customer in the future. Thank you for your honesty and integrity, I will continue to brag about Keen footwear!

The top four lace holders are shaped like hooks, which makes it harder and slower untying your boots - annoying. Could be a little more comfortable on the top of the foot when lacing a little tighter. I like the rubberized toes. The laces are wavy, so they're a little rougher on the fingers. Maybe the waves are to help prevent accidental untying? Not sure.

Very happy with my Camden workboots. Fit was great out of the box....and seems to be consistent with my last two pairs of the more tradidionally styled work boots (by that I mean that they have the more classic vibram-type sole, as opposed to a hiking boot integrated sole)...also a little generous in the toe box area which I prefer. I was happy to wear them all day right away...can't say that about a lot of boots. Kudos Keen....well done!

It’s a huge pain to find CSA rated boots that are comfortable. These boots are comfortable from day one. I don’t have wide feet but I really appreciate the wide toe-box. Be sure to order your usual sneaker size instead of a half size up like other work boots.

I wore these boots around the house for an hour or so , 3 straight 12s after that. extremely comfortable and surprisingly light for what they are , definitely recommend
