Absolutely stellar boot. I give them 5 Stars!!
But my experience with Keen is 50/50 so far.
I bought my Pittsburgh boots on a rockhounding trip in a small town in Oregon when I realized I had forgotten my hiking boots. No break-in period, just straight to work. No blisters and formed nicely to my feet.
After 2-1/2 years of digging rock, the soles had started falling apart. Understandably with the jagged rock I work on. So my girl replaced them with the Revels for Christmas. Very appreciative, but they are not nearly the boot my Pittsburghs are.
The toe of the Rebels started to peel within a week and required shoe goo.
The left Revel boot has a some sort of internal hard spot in the sole that bruises the bottom of my foot. I wasn’t sure why my foot hurt and wasn’t going away. So I took a break to my (beat-up sole) Pittsburghs and my toes healed right up. I went out on a day trip in the Revels and in one day I’m hobbling on a bruised (3 smallest toes). So they’ll go in the trash after less than 3 months of heavy wear. Revel is a decent boot, but got a bad sole I guess.
So I’m on here thinking it’s just time for a new pair of boots.
After 3 years the uppers are still in great shape, but the tread has started peeling off in large pieces the last 6-8 months requiring shoe goo. 3 years is a long time for a $200 boot. But 3 months isn’t good on a $160 boot.
Hmmm coin toss.

I destroy boots. I destroyed a brand new pair of Timberland Boondocks in 6 months. I typically wear the soles off my boots. I buy Rocky Ironclads because the soles last, but they are heavy, uncomfortable and very HOT. The soles are almost a hard plastic and provide not grip, but they last. I work as a mechanic and spend my entire day on my feet. I used to do HVAC installation and remember using Rocky Ironclads and complaining to one of the builders about the small toe box on their wide boots and how uncomfortable they were but explained how I needed them to last. He told me I should try Keen because of their durability, comfort and available room for wider feet. I was hesitant because I always wore traditional boots. After a few years and thousands of dollars trying Timberlands, Red Wings, Rocky, Through Goods and CAT boots, I thought what the hell. I went to the boot store and tried a pair on. I immediately liked the Keen Pittsburgh in wides. I bought them and immediately fell in love with the stability and increased traction. After a week in, they fit my foot perfectly. As I continued to wear them, they just get more and more comfortable. The soles have held up, they are still comfortable and still waterproof after 3yrs!!!! I did notice the soles started to separate from the leather, but it was never an issue, but more of a cosmetic thing. I just bought a pair of Hoka Kaha 3’s for hiking and as an everyday shoe for going out in. They are not as comfortable as my Keen Pittsburg’s I bought 3 years ago. I’m sending the Hoka’s back and buying another pair of Keen Pittsburgh’s. They are great for work, but easily make a super comfortable daily boot for camping, hiking, walking, yard work and literally everything in between. Even the liners and the insoles are in good shape. I had a pair of Timberland Pro 24/7’s that had amazing reviews for durability and specifically the soles. I will attach a picture of how fast I burned up the soles in less than two weeks! I stopped wearing then short of two weeks because the where very uncomfortable and where clearly not going to last. In just that short period of time, the Timberlands were showing uneven wear and spots where the underlying rubber were showing due to wear. After 3 years, the Keens have the most even sole wear I have ever seen on any of my boots. These Keens Pittsburgh have been the best, most durable, versatile and comfortable boots I have ever owned.

I've ordered this style many times to use as a work boot. Boot is comfortable out of the box. Only bummer is this boot doesn't hold up to the rigorous demands of my maintenance work.

Great boots. Very comfortable. Good fit. Very little break in time. I did check a couple local dealers to verify sizing and width. They r the warmest no insulated boots I've ever owned. Plenty of toe room for a heavier pair of socks. Only down side, wish they had an upgraded foot bed insert. Would give them a solid 8 out of ten.

As I have come to expect from Keen, this boot is super comfortable and supportive. It is replacing a pair of Keens that wore out after 5 years of regular use.
