It’s nice to find a hiking boot that’s not a “mid”. Definitely gives more ankle support.

I wondered how they would

From:  Age:  Gender:
I wondered how they would fit,I’ve been wearing pronghorn since they came out sharptails before that all day every day, prior SD surveyor, rolled my ankle in the brush,it’s been a tough 2yr recovery for this upland hunter,so I tried the Craig Rat for ankle protection, they are loose in ankle for fit,but I put 4mi on in the Missouri Bluffs,12”crusty snow,if these boots were tighter on the ankle, like pronghorn they would be perfect very good support make you want go I’m keeping them 👍

All around boot

From:  Age:  Gender:
I’ve taken this boot to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, to the top of many US 14ers, to the top of the 18,500ft Pico De Orizaba in Mexico via Jamapa Glacier, and on countless day hikes. I haven’t found a limit on this boot besides having to double up on socks when above 16,000 feet. It’s comfortable and durable as hell. I‘ve used it so much I’m just waiting to see if I can break it. Would recommend this boot to anyone.

I really like the feel

From:  Age:  Gender:
I really like the feel of these boots, especially doing lots of walking. I feel confident hiking on rough terrain while I wear them, They are definitely waterproof and are the most comfortable pair of boots I own. I love the tread, They work beautifully in the mud and kept me upright hiking in some pretty heavy rain. I love the support they offer and the build quality is fantastic, I'm confident these boots are going to last a long time and continue to perform throughout.

I’ve been waiting almost two

From:  Age:  Gender:
I’ve been waiting almost two years for these boots to come in my size, they’re exactly what I expected, well built, comfortable from the minute I put them on. I’ve been buying Danner boots for 25 years it’s all I wear. Danner is by far the best boots made. I spent my career and personal life wearing them for work and hunting. Thank you Danner.

I only gave them four

From:  Age:  Gender:
I only gave them four stars as the sizing is slightly smaller compared to my Mt. Adams and Super Rain Forest. Before I ordered I called and was assured the same size would be fine, but I find these to be tight on the width. Otherwise happy with the quality.

Awesome

From:  Age:  Gender:
These boots do seem to be a little snug for the size. I had to wear thin socks when breaking them in, but never any blisters. Like all well-made boots, it does take a while to really get them broken in, but they fit like a glove once it's done. I've hiked over 100 miles in them in two to five-mile increments over the last couple months (and a tiny bit of trail running). These boots are sturdy, supportive, have a ton of grip, and feel relatively light weight. I always try to buy from their USA-made selection, and I can't recommend Danner products enough. You won't be disappointed.
