I knew the minute I put them on they were a keeper. My only regret is that Danner does not make a taller non military style winter boot for women. I will keep checking back Danner. The lace and zip combination gives you the perfect fit.

Cannot say enough good things

Cannot say enough good things about these boots! I have developed severe heel pain in my right foot due to fat pad atrophy, and it was next to impossible to find a pair of warm winter boots, that were waterproof and did not hurt my heel when walking. These boots have all the support I need and are the ONLY pair I have found that did not cause any pain. I absolutely love them and am now a Dancer fan for life! Thank you so much for such a quality shoe.

I inferred the zipper would

I inferred the zipper would make this boot like a slip on, it did not. I do not want to deal with lacing up every time. Sad it did not work out for me, appreciated the return policy!
