Stellar. Boots feel great. They’ve really accommodated my feet. The wide is just a little snug when I have thick wool sock but the boots feel solid. Have great traction. I’m a little skeptical of the zipper. Seems like it’s a likely point of failure but construction is very solid.

Only downside is the zipper.

I’m on my 3rd pair

I’m on my 3rd pair of Danner Vicious for work. I’m a farmer and live in North Dakota. Just a great work boot, feels like an athletic shoe. At the start of winter I was looking for a good insulated boot with a very good sole for the ice and snow. I bought the Arctic 600, side zip 7” in roasted pecan Fired Brick. These boots are totally amazing, so warm and just a great arctic sole, I can move so well compared to pac boots.

I bought these when you were out of the Mountain 600 insulated boot - the pair I was really after - during your recent sale. I haven't worn them much, just about 3 or 4 hours leisurely, and so far they've been comfortable. The Mountain 600 that I've had for a couple of years is the most comfortable boot I've ever worn, but these Arctic 600 boots seem a bit different - although to be fair I should wear them much more before assessing them. They seem a bit longer in the toe then the Mountains (both these and my Mountains are US 10 1/2 EE), and if they truly are, I will notice it when I use them more rigorously. They're very attractive boots, I'm happy to say, but they had a couple of scratches on them that made me frown a bit (even at sale price, they weren't inexpensive) - I'd like to be the one to scratch 'em up! If you want a follow-up review sometime in the future, just ask.
