Comfortable, great grip, no break-in needed.

These are the best fitting most comfortable boots I've ever owned. Require little or no break-in. I have a smaller shoe size because my big toe is short. So normally I have to size down 1/2, but then the boots are too narrow for me. With these boots, I don't need to size down. My only complaint is that they wear out rather quickly. I get about 20 big mountain hikes (Colorado 14ers) before the soles are worn out. But they grip great while they last. They are especially good on rock. The rubber is soft, so the grip is great. But that's why they wear out fast. It's a tradeoff that's worth it in my opinion. They are also very inexpensive and that makes it an even more acceptable tradeoff.

Bought them for my husbands

Bought them for my husbands backpacking trip. Came three days before he left and they turned out perfect. He barely needed to break them in and wore them for three days with no complaints. Highly recommend these boots for the quality, price, look, and the good traction they provide!

They are really good boots

They are really good boots for where I hike. I go from 2-3 miles on wet trails from dew and my feet are dry when finished hiking.
