I have the chukka boots and thought I would give these a try. I wore them in Norway above the Artic circle in the cold and dark and they did not disappoint. Not so bulky so they don???t look out of place on city streets in snowy weather. Good traction on snow.

I purchased a pair of the Women's Inquire last year and loved the traction, I'm a senior citizen and need the security of a dependable boot in winter. Also, in extreme cold weather they didn't fail to keep me warm.
