I right away used these boots for a hike. I didn’t get to break them in. I’m glad I went with these feels comfortable and have room for my toes. I went to Humpback Rocks Gap for a hike and these held up well. I couldn’t feel the rocks beneath my feet. By the way, I’m normally a size 5.5 women’s and I got their 6. Fits fine with room for thick socks.

These boots were fantastic without being broken in. I wore them on a very extreme hike and my feet didn’t hurt even though the boots were fresh out of the box. Danner makes a great product.
