Was looking for lightweight supportive

Was looking for lightweight supportive boots for winter beach walking that would not let sand penetrate the structure of the boot (as opposed to inside the ankle). These boots passed the test with flying colors. They have a comfortable toe box, excellent arch support and no sand gets inside the suede. Other boots I have allow the sand to penetrate so the boots get heavier over time. I'm the only senior citizen walking the beach in mauve boots, that's for sure.

Seven days in Switzerland and

Seven days in Switzerland and these boots were everything I needed. They took me from walking around cities to exploring glaciers to hiking up mountain summits. Light weight, comfortable, warm, breathable, and excellent traction. Fit was TTS. I ordered a 7.5 which is my usual size and they worked well with Merino wool socks. I probably could have gone up a half size, but the 7.5 were just fine.

nice generous toe box and comfortable right out of the box. the mauve with the coral laces really brighten up my hike outings. they are water proof and can take a muddy beating. get the danner suede & nubuck brush to keep them looking like new!

These are the most comfortable boot available. No break in period needed. 33 mile backpacking trip right out of the box. Stylish and waterproof. I LOVE my Danners!
