I???ve worn these boots around the globe from Yellowstone to pyramids in Egypt to India. They are less bulky than a full on hiking boot, and therefore less heavy, smaller, and easier to pack. The waterproof seems to hold up after wear which is great. They provide enough ankle support for rough ground without being too high on the leg. I???ve worn them with heavy hiking socks and sport crew socks based on climate. The top did not allow and sand to get in in desert areas. My orthotics fit inside without issue. They got really grimy on my last trip so I???ll have to do a major refresh before wearing them again.

I have been wearing them for awhile, but even on the first wearing they were comfortable and didn't need any breaking in! They are light weight but heavy duty, which is why I bought them. I had bought a pair of another brand to wear in Iceland and knew I couldn't wear those to Alaska due to how tired my feet were half way through the first day! Regular Hiking Boots are just too heavy to wear. My Danner's give me all the protection but none of the heaviness that causes me to limit my walking in Iceland! Wider box toe room is perfect! I'm looking forward to my Alaskan trip because I know I will be able to go where ever I want and go comfortably!

Really great boots, style, look, color, quality are excellent, however they are narrow, at least for me. I exchanged for a half size up but still a problem, my toes went numb after wearing around the house for an hour. I will say that Danner has excellent customer service, quick returns and refund with no hassel. I also ordered this boot in tan and they seem to be sized a little larger than the gray, too bad, the gray are so cute!

I really like these boots. They are very comfortable with plenty of room in the toe box. I was having trouble finding shoes and/or boots that did not cause pain in the ball of my foot and these do the trick! Support is great, they look nice and make walking with my dogs fun again!

These boots are amazingly comfortable, almost like wearing a glove on your foot, I haven’t worn them much because it’s summer and I plan to use them as a winter shoe rather than as a hiking boot, but I think they’re going to be great.
