This is a review reflecting seven months of daily use (which is to say the kind of review you should care about). Here is the bottom line: this is an outstanding product and value. The insole is strong and supportive. They’ve found exactly the right stiffness and flexibility in the outsole. The shoe is an excellent day hiker, but the comfort and stability are extraordinarily good even under a heavy pack. Though they are still in fairly decent shape after this much wear (including multi-day backpacking trips) I have bought another pair to keep in reserve. The first pair were large and required a size down, but the second pair are true to size. Many thanks to the REI employee in Eugene who suggested this shoe when she saw me trying on a different product. I wouldn’t have found this great shoe otherwise.

Amazing fit and extremely comfortable. Replacing tennis shoes with these because the mesh in tennis shoes continues to fail. Danner stands up to its name brand with comfort and durable quality that I have known since 1984. I would rather pay a little more for something that will last twice as long and is backed by Danner's guarantee than buy low price and be disappointed.
