I work on range land throughout the US, on my feet all day, often hiking rough terrain. These aren’t normally what I would wear when recreating, but they provide excellent lightweight & waterproof support when I’m on the job. Other reviews seem to criticize the lacing system. I found this isn’t a problem once you break them in.
Purchased these on sale last year. While waiting for delivery, I found the same pair in my size at a local outfitter for half of the sale price I had just paid. My original intention was to send the first pair back, but I loved them so much that I kept both. I have rotated between the two alternating month to month for a year, and they look to be ready to hold up for another year of heavy abuse. DANNER IS KING!
