    These might be the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I loved the thorough review of this boot on runrepeat. com and found it to be very accurate. They're a little bit heavy, so I mostly use them around town and not on the trail, but man they are a joy to wear. My foot feels well protected while I'm doing home repair projects and the supple leather padding around the ankle is very comfortable. The sole and shank provide a relatively firm and stable base. I've worked physical jobs in the past and have some severe foot injuries, but these days I don't work in the trades, I just need a boot that will provide light protection and good stability/support. This is the boot. Plus it looks really cool. I feel confident that it will last for many years and love that it is made in America and can be resoled.
