I was one happy guy when I saw these on the Danner website, I thought that they were a Cabela's exclusive thrown out from Bass Pro. These boots work great for me here in the Michigan woods of northern part of the state. I'm glad that I took the time to go through the Danner website.

Grouse boots are my absolute

Grouse boots are my absolute favorite for hunting and everyday wear between fall and spring. I have a pair that was recently recrafted, which are my hunting pair now, and bought a second pair for casual wear. These are quite possibly the most well constructed boot I’ve ever owned, and I’ve worn Zamberlans, Carolina’s, Redwings, and several other brands. Danner Grouse are a standout among the rest. I won’t own any other boot.

I do wish that you would adjust your size to accommodate for the inserts. And increase the circumference of the gusset tongue to accommodate wide feet and large calves. Aside from that, the boots are well made and last several years.
