I would prefer the boot

I would prefer the boot without the protective toe; however, I really like the side zipper option. It would be great if they made this zipper boot without the toe option.

Great Boot

I have worn Danner boots in the military for over 20 years. I believe in their boots. I have worn pairs for 15 months straight in combat without failure. I ordered these to have as a summer boot now that I have retired. These boots for me ran small. Normally a 10. 5 wide, I found a 12 wide to fit with a little wiggle room for good socks. With Danner's free no hassle returns, exchanging is a breeze. Size problem is not a big deal for me. Being a recipient multiple times of military rapid fielding initiatives (RFI), every single boot manufacture is different. That said, highly recommend these boots, good balance of durability and not crazy heavy!

Outstanding quality and service

I’ve been wearing Danner boots on patrol for a long long time. I recognize and appreciate their quality. I purchased these boots for range use, long days on my feet, all kinds of weather. These boots are amazing, comfortable, durable, and provide significant support…and US made. Don’t think about it, just order them. You’ll be satisfied.
