They're decent will take another month or so to break in. I'm in the mountains of south west Colorado and they are excellent when traversing terrain. Also my toes have not been cold yet.

Great shoe been buying danners for years now the Marine boots run small which I knew always order one size bigger wish they didn't cost so much but glad to get an American made product you definitely get what you pay for

I've only had these boots for less than a month but are very light as advertised. I've worn Danner boots for years. Mostly the Pronghorn's and since they are both built on the same last (851) expected the same fit. But these run a little smaller. I've had to try different insoles to get the fit I wanted. Had to throw out the supplied Danner insoles as they made the boots to tight. Other than that happy with the boot.

Great boot!, had to return the first pair because they were tight near the ankle, could barely pull them on.
Returning was a breeze, received one size bigger and now they are comfortable and fit well!
