Have only been using the boots for a few weeks, so I can't comment on durability, but they fit well and are comfortable. There are two reasons I knocked off a star: 1) They run warm, even with temps in the 60's. 2) Four of the lace hooks evade quick lacing because they're recessed, making the boots fussy to lace up.

I found if I tightened

I found if I tightened the laces too tight it would affect the blood circulation across the top of my foot. Snugging them up worked fine. Wish the laces were a few inches longer. Other than that I would recommend them.

The overall fit, feel and

The overall fit, feel and comfort are quite good after break in, which took awhile for me. The portion of the boot just in front and inside of ankle was a bit uncomfortable for a bit! I have had many pair of Danner boots over the last 30 years and the 🇺🇸made Elk Hunters are THE most comfortable boot out of the box. I will continue to wear them as long as they have the American made option.
