Great light summer boots. They fit more like my tennis shoes. In the Danner Recons I wear an 11. These boots I had to size up to an 11. 5. Comfortable right out of the box and will be my summer boot from here on out.

More than a "Boot" it is the answer to the quest I have been on since my orthopedic surgeon told me I need bone fusion surgery to permanently connect my left foot to my left fib/tib assembly. OR embark on a life of pain management (no bueno) We found that the sneaker-style lace-up AND the height of the Boot-Collar mimics a standard ortho-brace I could wear but IT does NOT fit in any boot or shoe, whereas the life-saving Tachyon 8" are like a shoe / brace / boot all in one!
I work out in these amazingly comfortable Units like a boxer. And in Black you can go anywhere in them for any occasion. I wish I owned Danner Stock, because there is NO BOOTMAKER but Dinner

As comfortable as a tennis shoe, once your leg gets used to the slight bulges where each side of the tongue attaches to the boot shaft, which is a bit low in my opinion. Not sure why the tongue isn’t attached all the way up to the top of the shaft.
