This is a great boot. Very light and athletic. The Gore-tex is great and my feet stay dry but breath very well. This is my 15th pair and I have been wearing them most of my career. At the end of the boots life they may develop a slight squeak.

I just received my Tachyon Goretex and will be wearing them to work for twelve hours. I noticed immediately they are very comfortable walking on concrete right out of the box and will break in nicely. Very happy with these boots from Danner and will be looking for another pair for leisure.

I love these boots. I have been buying these boots for over 10years. No breaking in needed. They almost feel like a tennis shoes I work 10 hours a day standing on cement floors. These boots are amazing. Also very light weight.

Boots are super comfortable and fit well (I’m a women’s 7.5 & the 6.5 fit perfect) but the ankle part is a little rough to break in. I’m sure they’ll feel great in a week or two though. Overall happy with the purchase.
