This is my second pair of Danner Recurve boots (I have owned dozens of different Danners over 30+ years). They are one of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and I would have given five stars. My only complaint is that after two seasons, the first pair is no longer waterproof. I continue to wear that pair when hunting or hiking in a dry environment and bought this second pair when they recently went on sale. Maybe it’s an unreasonable expectation, but for a couple of hundred bucks, I expect the Danner Dry to last longer than it did. The rest of the boot is in great shape. Hope the waterproofing in the new pair will last longer.

Ordered a 1/2 size larger and the fit was right. Up hill and down hill walks cause no issues. This boot is great for people with wide feet. They are not water proof but it takes time for your feet to get wet. I love the way they look.
